Levon is from Gyumri where he lives with his mother and brother. He has worked as a taxi driver over the last five years, using his own car. Levon's mother works at local factory, but the main income of the family comes from Levon's taxi driving activity. Currently Levon needs to renovate the car and purchase new tires for the winter. He has applied for this loan to pay for that.

Levon has been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products.

The loan will greatly assist Levon as the car is damaged and needs to be renovated.
