Natalia is 52 years old and single. She has an unfinished college degree and is a professional accountant. Currently Natalia works at the farming co-op's office as a head secretary and her colleagues know her as a hardworking, honest and wise woman. To supplement her salary Natalia raises livestock. She started 22 years ago by purchasing cattle with 16,000 som (KGS). She worked hard to save money and expand her business and now owns two milk cows and two pregnant cows as well as 8.6 acres of land where she grows wheat, oats and feeder legume Onobrychis/Lucerne. Her monthly profits are 20,000 som (KGS). In order to further expand her business, Natalia has turned to the micro-finance bank "Bai Tushum and partners" for a loan. She will use the loan to buy steers for fattening and resale at the livestock market. Natalia plans to invest the profits from the expansion into further growing her herd.
