Agustina tiene 43 años de edad, vive junto a su esposo y sus dos hijos en el distrito de Oyotun, la cual es una zona rural, su población se dedica a la agricultura, comercio y ganadería a dos horas e la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.

Ella tiene una bodega ubicada en su domicilio, donde ofrece diversos tipos de abarrotes arroz, azúcar, menestras, leche entre otros, también se dedica a la crianza de animales menores en la parte posterior a su domicilio, ha solicitado un préstamo de 2 000 nuevos soles, para abastecer su negocio y de esta manera generar mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
