Bertila tiene 60 años de edad, vive junto a su hija en el distrito de Pucará, su población se dedica al cultivo de frutales, café y cacao, comercio y ganadería a dos horas de la ciudad de Jaén, sierra norte del Perú.


Ella se dedica a la venta de abarrotes leche, arroz, menestras, cuenta con una bodega ubicada en su propio domicilio, adicionalmente se dedica a la venta de recargas claro, su esposa le apoya en esta labor.


Ha solicitado un préstamo de 4 000 nuevos soles para abastecer su negocio con la compra de panetones, vinos, arreglos navideños entre otros y de esta manera generar mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
