Gohar
Gohar lives in Vanadzor town with her mother. After graduating university Gohar started to work at a local school. Together with work at school, Gohar has been also providing trainings for her students. Despite her young age, Gohar is skilled and educated enough to be able to provide high-quality trainings. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. The loan is very important for this young teacher to be able to improve the teaching method.

Gohar is the only breadwinner of the family, and the income from teaching is very important for her and her mother.

This loan is part of SEF's startup pilot project to benefit borrowers working in Armenia's non-formal business sector. By providing working capital to artists, auto mechanics, bakers, furniture makers, construction workers and other informal entrepreneurs, SEF aims to help them formalize their businesses, increase their incomes, and build brighter futures.
