The loan they will take out will benefit the micro-businesswomen, including Juana. She says that she has been a member of Pro Mujer for three cycles. She joined at the invitation of a member of the institution. Right now, she has a business selling tucumanas (Boliviana food). She says that she she started this business on her own initiative several years ago when she saw that this product sold well in the market.

The loan she will take out now is to increase her capital by buying potatoes, oil, and vegetables. She will acquire them from stores in the markets of the city of El Alto. After making her product, she will sell them in her sales space. This work allows her to generate resources to support her family, since she is in a common law marriage and has two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the savings that they do in groups.

La A.C. “ALAXPACHA II” iniciará el sexto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de German Busch, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Juana es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: costura de chamarras, productos YAMBAL, venta de tucumanas, costura de sombreros, tejido de chompas, venta de deportivos, costura de chamarras, venta de café.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Juana es integrante, ella indica que hace tres ciclos que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de tucumanas (comida boliviana); da a conocer que este negocio lo emprendió por iniciativa propia hace varios años, al observar que este producto se vendía con amplia cobertura en el mercado.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de papa, aceite, verduras) que adquirirá de las tiendas ferias de la Ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener a su familia, ya que ella vive en unión libre y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el ahorro que realizan en los grupos.
