Sania is 30 years old and lives in the town of Mpigi in the region of Kampala north in Uganda. She has one child who is currently in school. For the past 7 years, Sania has been working hard to manage her Garments shop, which sells clothes and garments.

To help expand her business, Sania has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more clothes to sell, and will help Sania to generate greater profits and increase her capital. She hopes that in the future she will be able to expand the business.

She is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Sania who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for micro-loans.
