Dominga y varios vecinos conforman el banco comunal “Los Paqollos” y la mayoría de los vecinos viven en la comunidad de Marcachea. (La comunidad de Marcachea está ubicado dentro del distrito de Paucartambo en la provincia de Paucartambo del departamento del Cusco). Dominga es una persona alegre y muy humilde que tiene 43 años de edad, es casada y junto con su familia viven en la misma comunidad, ella después de hacer sus actividades del hogar y se dedica a la agricultura pues tiene varios terrenos de cultivos donde tiene papa, cebada, trigo y otras cosas más. En esta oportunidad Dominga requiere el préstamo para comprar semillas y fertilizantes. Este banco comunal está conformado por varias personas que buscan a cada momento las oportunidades para salir adelante y con su esfuerzo diario entregar un mejor futuro a sus hijos. Los socios se dedican al agricultura, artesanía, venta de comida, ganadería, crianza de animales menores y otros.

About Asociación Arariwa
Asociación Arariwa is a large non-governmental organization that started offering microcredit in 1994 to improve the quality of life, skills and equity of the population in the rural Cusco region of Peru. Arariwa serves the southern Andean provinces of Peru, and is distinguished by its efforts to reach the very poor, who often live in isolated rural areas.
