Mary Berbeleu tiene 30 años de edad, vive junto a sus hijos en la zona rural de Oyotun, su población se dedica al cultivo de arroz, yucas, maíz a dos horas de la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.


Ella se dedica a la crianza y venta de cerdos y pavos en la parte posterior a su domicilio, nos explica que se dedica a esta actividad desde que se caso para apoyar con los gastos de la familia, su esposo brinda servicios de albañilería.


Ha solicitado un préstamo de 1 000 nuevos soles para terminar los acabados de su cocina, reposteros, ventanas y una puerta y de esta manera tener un lugar limpio y seguro para preparar los alimentos a su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
