G.s. El Alfarero Group
In this Group: Yenifer Massiell , Keyla Lizeth , Noelkis Naara
There are three members, all single mothers, in the El Alfarero group. Between them they are responsible for seven children. They are natives of Nagarote, a place well-known for its crafts and local food specialities. The women are responsible and hardworking with a great desire to get ahead in life. In their free time they enjoy being with their children. Sadly, because they are poor, they weren't able to go to school but had to work from a young age to help pay for household expenses.

The coordinator of the group is Yenifer because she is energetic and keen to make progress. She runs a small store selling groceries etc. in small quantities such as rice, beans, sugar, oil, milk, bread, detergent, soap, matches, fruit, tiste [local drink], and Magi soup. Yenifer works in her store 12 hours a day so she can increase her income.

The El Alfarero group is grateful to Kiva donors who give the chance of a better life to poor people in poor countries like Nicaragua.

In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
