“Raising all the children, hasn’t been easy at all and my husband passed away when they were still young. However, older siblings helped in raising the youngest ones,” said Marte.
Marte lives with her family in northern Albania, and the way she is dressed is very traditional in that part of the country. In addition, the fact that she is a widowed lady, makes her dress in black colored clothing.
This past year, Marte has been selling baby calves and raw milk at the farmers market of a nearby city. She is planning on expanding her activity; at the moment she has only two dairy cows.
