Loi, 41, lives with her husband and two children in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband earns money through processing brass items. Loi supports her family by selling rice and sewing clothes. She started these business activities nine years ago. She would like to get a loan to buy a larger quantity of rice to sell at her store. Loi also hopes her business will ensure that her family members, and especially her children, will have a better education and a better future.

Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) is a non-profit Vietnamese microfinance institution that operates in the provinces of southeastern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta. CEP's head office is located in Ho Chi Minh City.
