Santos Nicolas
Santos Nicolas is 60 years old and lives with his wife in a rural area of Oyotún, which is two hours from the city of Chiclayo on the northern coast of Peru. The people who live in this area are known for working in agriculture, livestock and other businesses.

Santos Nicolas has a small business raising and selling small farm animals. He runs his business from his home. Santos Nicolas says that for the past few months he and his wife have seen the opportunity to sell their animals in neighboring villages, where they are offered good prices.

Santos Nicolas is requesting this loan from the field partner for 1,000 PEN to build a bedroom in his house. He says that this will make his home safer and more comfortable.

Santos Nicolás tiene 60 años de edad, vive junto a su esposa en Santa Rosa, una zona rural de Oyotún su población se dedica a la agricultura, comercio y ganadería, a dos horas de la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.

En su domicilio tiene un pequeño negocio crianza y venta de animales de corral, en los últimos meses junto a su esposa han visto la oportunidad de de llevar sus animales a los caseríos aledaños, donde los ofrecen a un buen precio.

El ha solicitado un préstamo a Edpyme Alternativa de 1 000 nuevos soles para construir un dormitorio en su vivienda y de esta manera tener un lugar seguro y agradable donde residir.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
