Mrs. Heun S., 30, is a seller who lives in Kchas Commune, Siem Reap Province. She has been selling groceries since 2006, earning around US$2.00 per day, while her husband, Mr. Yem Va, 31, sells chickens in the market. Heun would now like to expand her business and has requested a loan of US $800 to allow her to purchase more vegetables for resale. The loan will allow her to increase her family's income and support their family adequately.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
