Cristino tiene 67 años de edad, vive junto a su esposa e hijos en el distrito de Sallique, su población se dedica a la agricultura ganadería y al comercio, a dos horas de la ciudad de Jaén, sierra norte del Perú.

Junto a su esposa tienen un puesto de venta de comida preparada, son conocidos en la zona por el buen gusto de cada plato que ofrecen, su negocio está ubicado en el centro de su comunidad, en un espacio de su puesto venden abarrotes.

El ha solicitado un préstamo de 2 000 nuevos soles para hacer crecer su bodeguita comprando arroz, leche, menestras y así generar mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
