This loan will be used in some small businesses of which Adela is a member. She says that she joined Pro Mujer seven years ago at the invitation of her sister-in-law, who is a member. Adela’s business is making and selling sweaters. She says that she learned this business from working as a machine operator in a weaving workshop. Later, with the first loan she received from Pro Mujer, she decided to start her own business.
Adela is requesting this loan to increase the capital of her business by buying wool, which she will buy from the distributors in the city of El Alto. After she makes the sweaters, she will sell them from her sales space. This work allows her to earn income to support her family, as she is in a common-law relationship and has five children.
