Dao is 45 years old and is married with three children. Her husband is a driver for hire. Dao has been running a business of making clothing for 20 years. She started this business to cover her expenses and to generate income to raise her children. She lives with her family in Ho Chi Minh City. Dao is requesting a loan to expand her business by buying more cloth and sewing materials in order to make more clothing. She hopes that she will be able to attract more customers and increase the turnover of her business. She hopes that through the loan she will be able to have money to reinvest in her business in the future.

Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) is a non-profit Vietnamese microfinance institution that operates in the provinces of southeastern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta.
