Sajida is a 32-year-old single woman. She has worked in selling clothes from her home for the past five years. She particularly sells cotton products. In parallel, she works at a local boutique with the intention of earning superior income and enhancing her way of living. She’s very friendly and knows very well how to deal with and stay in a good relationship with her clients.
With her loan requested today from Kiva partner Vitas s.a.l., she will buy a winter clothes collection of pants, coats, jackets, etc., in order to diversify her merchandise selection and grow her business. Sajida notes that this loan will certainly push her to get higher returns. In the future, she plans to open a proper clothing store.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
