Neang is 29 years old. She is married and resides with her three children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.
She has been making round baskets to sell for more than three years, earning about USD 2 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who makes an income of USD 6 each day.
Due to the difficulty in her family’s transportation, Neang is requesting a loan of USD 1,100 to buy a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help reduce their expense on transportation and help her husband easily transport to work.
In the future, she would like to run a grocery store and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she wants to build a new house.
