Sara tiene 29 años de edad, vive junto a su hijo en la zona rural de Oyotun, su población se dedica al cultivo de algodón, maíz, yuca, comercio en general y ganadería a dos horas de la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.

Junto a su familia se dedican a la venta de combustible, siendo los únicos en la zona que abastecen a sus clientes, su esposo se dedica a las labores agrícolas.

Ella ha solicitado un préstamo de 1 000 nuevos soles para invertirlo en la compra de más combustible, ya que la demanda está en aumento, y de esta manera generar mayores ingresos para la familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
