María Benedicta tiene 58 años de edad, vive junto a su esposo en el distrito de Salitral, una comunidad conocida por la venta de chicha de jora y ceviche, su población se dedica al comercio y agricultura, que pertenece a Morropon, a dos horas de la ciudad de Piura, costa norte del Perú.


Junto a su familia se dedican a la venta de chicha de jora y cerveza, su negocio está ubicado en su domicilio, Ella ha solicitado un préstamo de 3 500 nuevos soles para comprar abarrotes y de esta manera hacer crecer su negocio lo que le generara mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
