Ramiro

Ramiro and his wife work raising and selling small animals in the rear part of his home, and he also works in a high school near his home. Ramiro has asked for a loan of 2000 nuevos soles to buy a mototaxi which will make it easy for him to commute to his work, carrying three co-workers who pay him a fare for the trip.

Ramiro tiene 44 años de edad, vive junto a su familia en el distrito de Cayaltí, su población se dedica al cultivo de caña y ganadería, a dos horas de la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.


Junto a su esposa se dedica a la venta y crianza de animales menores en la parte posterior de su domicilio,Ramiro trabaja como docente en el colegio de la zona y ha solicitado un préstamo de 2 000 nuevos soles para la compra de una mototaxi lo que le facilitara desplazarse a su centro de trabajo, llevando a tres compañeros de trabajo como clientes que pagaran su cuota de pasaje.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
