Cecilia is 50 years old and earns a living running her own business, and she's been selling maize for 12 years. She gets help from her daughter who helps to sell and serve customers better. In this way, Cecilia is able to generate enough income to contribute towards her household expenses. Currently she is asking for the loan amount of 2,000 GHS to buy two big bags of maize to sell to customers. This will also allow her to have enough stock to meet the demand for products and to face the various challenges caused by unexpected rises in maize price. This affects her finances and her customers since the prices are very variable and unstable. By doing this she will be able to increase sales and the income she makes.
Cecilia says she wants to continue working hard to move her business forward. She wants to fulfill her dream of owning a supply shop, which will give her better profits and income to improve her family's well being and quality of life.
