Julia is a woman who is a fighter and who, from a very young age, has had to work to support her children and husband so that they are not lacking in basic needs. Her husband works in an enterprise selling soft drinks. Julia is 54 years old, and lives in the Laureles Norte neighborhood. She has two children, ages 12 and 20. Julia’s business is comprised of selling video games and other products such as wood and perishables. It has been two years since she started the business, and things are going well for her, despite the fact that she has some competition from her neighbor. The money she is soliciting is to invest into working capital to buy video games, so she can have a satisfied customer base given the variety and availability of her products. In the future, she would like to make improvements to her work area, diversify her product base and capture more clients. She also dreams of seeing her children become professionals.
