Hien is 42 years old. She lives with her husband and two sons in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband is a guard man. Hien supports her family by selling meals in the local community. She would like a loan to buy a larger quantity of better quality food, which will enable her to increase the turnover of her business. She hopes that through the loan she can improve her family's living conditions.

Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) is a non-profit Vietnamese microfinance institution that operates in the provinces of southeastern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta.
