Karine is from Arjut vllage in the Lori region. She lives with her son, daughter-in-law, and 6-year-old granddaughter. Karine’s son is a construction worker and is the main breadwinner of the family. To help her son in earning a living, Karine is extensively engaged in agribusiness; she is involved in cattle breeding, aviculture, and the cultivation of wheat and grass. The family sells the agricultural products in the local market. The latter is an important source of income for them. To be able to cover the increasing expenses of her family, Karine wants to expand her agribusiness a little bit. She needs a loan of 3000 USD to purchase two cows and to make previous credit repayments. The loan will help Karine and her family to sustain their agribusiness and develop it further. She and her family rely on the good will of the lenders and will be grateful to them for their support.
