Shoghik is an experienced agronomist from Qarakert village of the Armavir region. She lives with her husband, her 20-year-old son, her 18-year-old and 13-year-old daughters, and her elderly and retired mother-in-law. Shoghik's husband is employed in the government sector; he works in the village local self-governance body. His salary is so low that he cannot afford a living based on that salary alone. To assist her husband in earning a living, Shoghik engages in cattle breeding, aviculture, breeding a livestock of pigs and piglets, and cultivation of alfalfa, peaches, apricots, apples, and walnuts. Her son sells the agricultural products in the local market.
Shoghik currently wants to expand her agribusiness. She needs a loan of 3,000 USD to purchase the neighboring piece of land for horticulture. Shoghik and her family members rely on the good will of lenders and will appreciate their support in collecting the needed amount for the loan to maintain and develop their agribusiness.
