Armine
Armine is a young agronomist from Ayntap village of Ararat region. She lives with her husband, parents-in-law, and brother-in-law. Armine's brother-in-law works in the private sector. To take care of the family's needs, Armine, with the help of her family members, is engaged in breeding a livestock of piglets and hens, and cultivating greens. They realize the agricultural products at the local market.

Armine and her family are also involved in making besom. To continue running her agribusiness in a sustainable way, Armine needs to make some investments. A loan of USD 2,000 will help her greatly, enabling her to purchase besom seeds, buy some fertilizers, pay for the harvesting services, and purchase pigs.

As this is Armine’s first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn't have access to credit products before, because they have no credit history. Armine and her family will be very thankful to the lenders for their goodwill and support in collecting the needed amount of loan to sustain their agribusiness.
