The proprietor of Day Spring, Nadila, is a hardworking 33-year-old lady from a suburb of the Mbarara municipality in Uganda. She grew up with her grandmother who was a teacher. She went to school and completed ordinary levels, but failed to get money to continue with her education. Due to that fact, she joined teaching college and graduated as a teacher. Because of the scarcity of jobs in Uganda, she decided to start her own school with the help of her grandmother in the same house where they were staying. Now that the house is becoming very old, she has applied for a loan of 5,000,000 UGX to renovate it so that she can attract more pupils to the school.
