Silvia dreams of becoming an accountant, but without a degree, knows it may never be possible. Silvia was accepted into the Universidad San Fransisco Xavier, and now with the chance to achieve her dream, is concerned about affording tuition fees.
Silvia plans on spending the loan towards purchasing her textbooks. As an added expense, textbooks are often not bought to save money. With them, Silvia hopes to be able to better understand her subjects.
In addition to her responsibilities at school, Silvia currently works 30 hours a week and earns $13 a day. With a degree in public accounting and finance, she expects to earn $20 a day.
Silvia's parents were never able to complete their primary education. For her family of eight, finances have always been tight. As the youngest of five, with one older sibling attending college already, Silvia is unsure how she will be able to finance her education on her own without the assistance of a Vittana loan.
