R. Fotima is a single mother of six children. She decided to start her own business to be able to support her children, to provide them with education, food, and a home. Fotima began her business 12 years ago, selling products from a catalog. Afterwards, she began helping a friend in her curtain sales business, and later continued to run a similar business independently. Fotima's business currently allows her to cover her family's expenses. However, she would like to expand the business even further to improve her family's standard of living. Therefore, Fotima is asking for a loan of US$1,000 which she will use to buy merchandise and fill her pending orders. Fotima plans to repay the loan within 12 months. She is thankful to everyone for their support.
