Mrs. Kimhong H. is a 27 year old farmer who has been farming since 1992, earning about $4.00 per day. Her husband, Mr. Som Soeun, is 35 years old and raises pigs. He is also a layman in his Village, earning $4.00 per day. Kimhong has one child who lives with them in Snam Preah Commune, Seam Reap Province.
Because of increasing transportation costs, Kimhong decided to request a loan of $1100 to add to her savings to purchase a motorcycle. This will be used by the family to reduce transportation costs.
