Orlando tiene 38 años de edad, vive junto a sus hijos en el distrito de San Felipe, sus pobladores se dedican al cultivo y venta de café, cacao y frutales dos horas de la ciudad de Jaén, que pertenece a la Región Cajamarca, sierra norte del Perú.


Junto a su familia se dedican a la venta de comida preparada y bebidas de gaseosa, tiene un restaurante propio conocido en la zona por los exquisitos platos que ofrecen, Orlando ha solicitado un préstamo de 3 000 nuevos soles para invertirlo en arreglo del local de su negocio, permitiéndole brindar un mejor servicio a sus clientes.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
