Bella is a widow and has three children who already have their own families. To earn a living, Bella has run a printing press business in her community for more than ten years. She always finds ways to please the needs of her customers. With her determination in improving the business, she borrowed a loan from GDMPC micro credit to repair the existing printing machine to provide better services. She wants to expand her business in the future and let her children manage it in the near future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
