Raúl gets ready to go to work very early every morning because he starts at 7 a.m. and works until 3 p.m. from Monday through Saturday in an industrial business located in the Sacaba community. He has worked for this company since he was very young and has 14 years of experience in the field. After finishing his daily routine he provides transportation with his vehicle from 4-10 p.m. from Monday through Saturday. His hours are regular throughout the year.
Currently Raúl's requesting a loan to finish building a wall around his house. He didn't have the money to finish it. He wants to do it now for the safety of his daughters.

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
