This committee was formed thanks to Julia Benítez, who is a former counselor of city of Asunción. She invited her neighbors for an informative discussion. The afore-mentioned lady spoke to them about the Program, which she knew of from an information bulletin that she had received.

The women are very active in collaboration with the community. Some are part of a neighborhood commission of the neighborhood of Tacumbú and others work in the Divino Maestro chapel, which is found close to their homes.

We can speak of some of them, such as the case of Tomasa Zladívar, who is a single mother. In order to support her son and pay the expenses of the household where she lives, Tomasa is dedicated to the sale of jewelry and delicacies in a spot set against the door of a school where she has a small cart where she exhibits her merchandise to the students.

She rises very early in the morning, walks from her residence located in the Saxony neighborhood and arrives at the center with a bag full of things to sell. Things that are colorful, sweet and salty sell well. Now Tomasa can already withdraw a loan of 1,200,000 Guanaris. thanks to her good payment history she can agree to this total. She tells us that she will use it to grow her merchandise even more and to vary the products that she offers since spring is approaching.

The members carry out many extra activities such as raffles and food fairs, among others, to be able to pay some expenses of beautifying their neighborhood.
