Cleto is 37 years old. He lives in an isolated community which has no electricity. He has three small children who he cares for as his partner abandoned him. Since then he has worked twice as hard as he is both mother and father to the children. Since he was quite young Cleto has worked in agriculture, this being the only source of revenue he has.
In the last few months due to climate change the community was hit with a heavy frost which destroyed all the crops. Cleto has not remained behind thinking about how the disaster has affected his family's revenues and their food basket. Being very hard-working, he has not stood with bowed head but has returned to preparing his fields to seed again. It is for this reason that Cleto is requesting a loan to buy seeds and fertilizer. This loan will be a great help for his whole family to recover from this disaster and once more take up the road to prosperity.
