Meet Adama. She is 25 years old and from Jui, an eastern area in Freetown. She is married, with two children.
In 2008, Adama established her fertilizer business. She began her business because she wanted to generate a permanent source of income. She works at the business every day, nine hours per day. She says that the main challenge to her business is that she walks a long distance to meet her customers.
Adama requires a loan in order to purchase more fertilizer, to expand her business. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to change her standard of living and increase her business.
In the future, Adama plans to open a big fertilizer shop. She thanks you for your support.
