Kujtesa is 30 years old, married and the mother of two children, age 1 and 3 years old. They all live in the southern part of Kosovo. Kujtesa’s husband works in construction in a private company. He is a very hard worker who works a lot in order to support his family.
Kujtesa has been operating a handicraft business for more than five years. Up until now, her husband’s salary and her additional income has not been enough to buy material needed for her work. She is now requesting a loan for the first time to buy needed material for her work since she has a lot of orders.
The loan will help her to generate more income. She is hoping to expand her business in the future so that she can create better living conditions for her family. She is very thankful to all Kiva lenders for the help!
