Anahit is an experienced farmer from Noravan village of the Armavri region. She lives with her brother and his wife.

To take care of her family's needs, Anahit is engaged in cattle breeding, in agriculture, in breeding livestock of sheep and pigs, and in cultivation of alfalfa and grass, which serves as forage for the livestock. Anahit's family members help her greatly in her daily farming activities; her brother sells the agricultural products in the local market.

Anahit and her family own barns in the Gegharquniq region. They breed the cattle there during the summer, and return back in autumn. As the autumn is progressing, Anahit needs to purchase a winter supply of forage for the livestock.

A loan of USD 3,000 will assist her greatly in purchasing forage for the livestock, and to make previous credit payments.

As this is Anahit’s first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before, because they have no credit history.

The family will be very thankful to the lenders for their goodwill and support in collecting the needed loan.
