GSAMS is made up of three single mothers who have seven children they are responsible for. They are native to Nagarote, located in the western part of the country.

These women are characterized by being hard-working, responsible and wanting to get ahead. Sadly, due to a lack of resources, they weren't able to study a career, which has forced them to work from a young age.

Currently, their biggest dream is to be able to work and improve the lives of their young children, giving them a better future and struggling for them to become professionals.

Thanks to her effort and desire to succeed, the coordinator of the G.S. is Heidi. Her job is selling cosmetics, such as blush, lipstick, eyeliner, makeup remover, anti-dark circles, moisturizers, perfumes and body.

She works at her business for eight hours every day, offering her products by walking, and in her house. The goal of the loan is to invest in capital and stock her business for the buying and selling of cosmetics so she can earn better income in the near future.

The GSAMS group is grateful for the assistance Kiva investors provide to poor people and poor countries like Nicaragua to have a decent working environment.

In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
