Majali is a hardworking and enterprising man who lives at the coastal region of Kenya.
For the past two years, he has operated a shop kiosk business, selling to his neighbours and passersby. He mentioned seasonality as his major challenge. He dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.
With the KES 15,000 he wants to purchase sweets, biscuits, bread, milk, soft drinks, rice, beans, cooking oil. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
