Felimon Jr. is married with one child. He runs a retail business selling used shoes in the market. Aside from this, he also has been engaged in a transportation service to earn a living. He also uses his motorcycles in selling used shoes. Recently, he borrowed a loan from GDMPC micro credit to repair the existing vehicles used in his business. He hopes to sustain his business to earn a stable income in the future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
