Focal de Panamericana is a group of nine members and is led by a board of directors where Mrs. Candelaria is the President. The businesses that the members have are varied and include macrame blankets, carpentry, sewing sports clothes and pants, selling cosmetics, making wallets and buying and selling used furniture as well as knitting sweaters and sweatshirts.

The loan will benefit small businesses in the group where Mrs. Candelaria is a member. She tells us that three years ago she became a member of Pro Mujer. She was invited to join by a promoter from the institution who came to visit her in her home. Currently, she has a carpentry workshop. She says that years ago, when she started her family with her husband, she already had the skills for this kind of work and the two of them decided to invest their money in starting their own business.

The loan will be used to have more working capital and to purchase a wood saw that she will purchase in the city El Alto and after she makes her products she will sell them in her space. This work allows her to earn money that makes it possible to support her family and her home. She is married and has two children.

When asked what she liked about Pro Mujer, she said that she likes the health and skills training that they provide.

Focal de Panamericana, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Candelaria es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: macramé de mantas, carpintería, costura de deportivos y pantalones, venta de cosméticos, costura de carteras, compra y venta de muebles usados, tejido de chompas u busos.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Candelaria es integrante, ella indica que hace tres años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una invitación de una Promotora de la institución que fue a visitarle a su domicilio. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de taller de carpintería; nos cuenta que hace años atrás cuando formo su familia su esposo ya conocía este oficio y ambos decidieron invertir dinero para implementación de un negocio propio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de cepilladora de madera) que adquirirá de las tiendas de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y capacitación.
