Davit is a farmer from Haykadzor village of Shirak region. He lives with his wife, daughter, two sons and daughter-in-law. To take care of his family’s needs Davit is extensively engaged in agribusiness. He is involved in cattle breeding, in breeding a livestock of sheep, in aviculture (birds), in beekeeping and in cultivation of wheat. Davit’s sons help him in selling the agricultural products in the local market.

To be able to run his agribusiness in a more efficient way, Davit needs a loan of $3000 USD to purchase agricultural machinery. With the help of the machinery it will be easier for him and for his family members to organize their agribusiness. As this is Davit’s first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative of Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before because they have no credit history.
