Bunthoern is a 48-year-old married man with 3 children who resides in Kampong Chnnang Province, Cambodia. He has been running a motor taxi service for more than ten years, earning approximately $10 per day. His wife, who joins him in the picture, sells fruit at the market. She makes an income of $8 each day.
Since the present motorbike is old, Bunthoern is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a new motorbike to run the taxi service. This purchase will help him to attract more customers and earn more income for the family. In the future, he would like to rebuild his house and help his children earn a bachelor’s degree.
