Hamlet is from Sardarapat village of Armavir region. He lives there with his wife and 82-year-old mother. Near the village where Hamlet and his family live, Hamlet owns a small space where he provides auto repair service to locals. Hamlet has been involved in this activity for more than 35 years.

Currently because of the high cost of living, Hamlet isn't able to purchase tools and equipment that he needs for providing the service. That's the reason Hamlet has applied for this loan. He has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF international. The start-up loan program provides business start-up loans with soft conditions to informal businesses that do not have access to credit products. Hamlet will be very grateful to lenders for their support.
