Ruzanna is an experienced farmer from the Verin Artashat village of the Ararat region. She lives with her son, daughter-in-law, and two-year-old grand-daughter. Ruzanna’s son works in the government sector and is currently the main breadwinner for the family. To assist her son in earning a living, Ruzanna is engaged in breeding a livestock of pigs and hens, and in the cultivation of peach, apricot, pears and grapes. The family realizes the agricultural products in the local market. They have a special refrigerator for fruits, where the fruits can remain fresh for a long time. They keep the fruits in the refrigerator and sell them in winter, when the prices of those fruits are much higher. To continue the agribusiness in a sustainable way and develop it further, Ruzanna needs a loan of USD 2,500 to purchase a piece of land which she can use for horticulture. She and her family will be grateful to all the lenders for their goodwill in helping them develop their agribusiness.
