Vahid
Vahid is 56 years old. He has a small business selling clothing out of his home. He sells women's clothes. He buys the clothing from another city during weekly trips. He said that he started this business with money that he had earned from previous jobs. Month by month he is growing his business with this hard-earned money. This activity generates sufficient income and there is strong demand for his clothing as he has a lot of customers every day. In order to satisfy customer demand and expand his business, Vahid needs a loan of 2000 AZN. This will let him continue with his sales and improve his income. He has a good client history and this is his second loan.

More information about this loan

This loan is designed for clients residing in settlements for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Bilasuvar, Azerbaijan. An internally displaced person (IDP) is someone who has been forced to flee his or her home due to armed conflict, violence, human rights violations, or natural or manmade disasters, but who, unlike a refugee, has not crossed an international border (source: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs). Many of these people have failed to qualify for loans through formal channels due to low income and lack of collateral. By funding this loan, you are creating opportunities and supporting economic development in extremely underserved communities.
