Le groupement "SAINT ANTOINE DE PADOU 1" est composé de huit personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. C'est la quatrième fois que ce groupement sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de leur activité. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Honorine est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Honorine est âgée de 35 ans et est mariée à un certain Toussaint. Le couple a quatre enfants, dont certains sont scolarisés et tous à leur charge. Honorine vit ensemble avec ses enfants et son mari. Les diverses charges de la maison sont assurées par le couple. Afin de subvenir aux diverses charges du ménage, Honorine prépare depuis sept ans, de la nourriture (pâte de maïs accompagnée de poissons frits) dans un marché du Bénin. Cette activité lui procure des revenus non négligeables. Honorine s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaire et son revenu, Honorine sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupement "SAINT ANTOINE DE PADOU 1", un quatrième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Les crédits précédents ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
